But thats just pure ignorance, he had said in the pass that he suffers from a rear skin disorder called vitiligo which is a disorder that causes depigmentation in patches of skin. It occurs when the melanocytes, the cells responsible for skin pigmentation which are derived from the neural crest, die or are unable to function. The precise pathogenesis, or cause, of vitiligo is complex and not yet fully understood. There is some evidence suggesting it is caused by a combination of autoimmune, genetic, and environmental factors. It is also common in people with thyroid disorders. It is said that vitiligo is hereditary and MJ himself said that his dad's side of the family had this condition. I'd also read that MJ suffered from lupus, an autoimmune disease, which would corroborate what you said about the possibility of vitiligo being cause by some form of auto-immunity.
Doubters don't want to see what is right in front of them.
It is jus so sad,what this man endured in his short life. Lies, speculations about him all in the name of making money ! a lot of lies have bn said abt MJ as his brother said may be now he will rest in peace!
I dd make a follow-up on vitiligo few days back realising what he was going thru and the way people made their conclusions made me very sad,R.I.P MJ.
