Royal Wedding: All the Details.

It's official: The "Wedding of the Century" lived up to all its anticipated tradition, romance and extravagance. Prince William and Kate Middleton wed at Westminster Abbey on Friday at 11 AM in front of 1,900 guests including royal members, dignitaries, socialites and government officials -- as well as celebs like David and Victoria Beckham.

Prince William seemed much at ease, as he chatted with guests before his wife-to-be walked into the historic church. After stepping out of a vintage Rolls Royce, Kate made the 4-minute walk down the aisle in a V-neck lace, A-line gown designed by Sarah Burton, the head designer for the late Alexander McQueen.

The beautiful bride wore her hair in simple curls below a long sheer veil, a small 1936 Cartier diamond encrusted crown with a modest 8-foot train trailing behind her. It definitely wasn't the late Princess Diana's dress, which was made of 40 yards of taffeta with a 25-foot train!

Kate held a simple flower bouquet with a sprig of myrtle from Queen Victoria's wedding bush, and William slowly placed an heirloom wedding band made from Welsh mountains gold on her left hand.

Queen Elizabeth hosted an afternoon hors d'oeuvres fete at Buckingham Palace for 650 guests, where the newlyweds shared their first public kiss on the balcony, followed by a smaller catered dinner hosted by Prince Charles in the evening. The newly-royal-weds will head off to a two-week honeymoon on the Necker Islands, a family friend's privately owned retreat which they will have to themselves.

President Barack Obama & First Lady Michelle Obama Make Final "Oprah" Show Appearance.

President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama and First Grandmother Marian Robinson were snapped exiting Air Force One in Chicago yesterday to tape an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey show.

One of the first things he and Oprah talked about was the foolywang conversation that he was not an American citizen.

Oprah asked him, 'When it first came up, were you thinking, I hope I was born here?'

'Can I just say I was there, so I knew,' President Obama said. 'I knew I had been born. I remembered it.

President Obama continued by saying he had released his long-form birth certificate as a way of getting the country to focus on the issues again.

'Two weeks ago a huge debate was initated about where our budget needs to go. During the course of this major debate where I gave a big speech and the Republicans voted on their proposal, the biggest news was this birth certificate thing.


'I said to my team, look, even though this is not usually what the state of Hawaii does...Even though the Republican governor of Hawaii, the Democratic governors of Hawaii, all the various officials had confirmed that I was born here, let's ask them for a special dispensation where they will go ahead and provide us with the original to see if we can put this to rest.


'We are living in a very serious time. And America has huge potential and opportunity to seize the 21st century. We're only gonna get there, though, if we have a serious conversation about the things that matter to people."

Kate wore a flowing satin dress that stretched 10-feet down the isle behind her as she floated toward the alter. Alexander McQueen designer Sarah Burton designed the gown which played to the bride's more delicate qualities.

Chelsy Davy Will Wear Alberta Ferretti to the Royal Wedding.

If you're not an obsessive royal follower, you might not know who Chelsy Davy is. But let us tell you there's a high chance she'll be the next woman to enter the royal family.

Chelsy is Prince Harry's Zimbabwe-born, on-again, off-again girlfriend. They've been dating since 2004 and she's accompanying the dashing prince to the royal wedding.

Chelsy has chosen two dresses by Alberta Ferretti for the big event. For the ceremony, she'll be in an aqua green bias reverse satin dress paired with an aqua green faille silk jacket with a deep boat neck and a knot detail. For the reception, she'll party the night away in a one shoulder midnight blue crepe satin gown.

David Beckham: Royal Wedding Is Going to Be 'Amazing'

David Beckham and his wife Victoria are two of the few celebs who merited an invite to Westminster Abbey for the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton Friday, and the soccer star can't wait!

He said: “I think a royal wedding, it’s amazing. It really is amazing. Our country needs it. Our country wants it. The British public love the royal family. I was brought up around the royal family and around loving the royal family with my granddad, with my nan.

I took my nan and granddad to Buckingham Palace when I got my OBE [Order of the British Empire]. They were so proud. It means so much to them. My granddad served his country and they were so proud of that. They brought me, my sisters, my mum up around the royal family and to see there is going to be one [a royal wedding] now is exciting.”

David, who received special permission from his team Los Angeles Galaxy to attend tomorrow’s ceremony in the UK capital, left Los Angeles yesterday with Victoria and their sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and six-year-old Cruz.

Kate Middleton To Do Her Own Wedding Makeup.

Talk about anti-royal treatment. While almost every girl on the planet indulges in wedding day makeup artist, Kate Middleton's is opting to paint her face on alone.

The bride-to-be has received some training from London makeup artist Arabella Preston and has become "comfortable" enough to do it herself, wedding planner Mark Niemierko told People.

"I heard that Arabella Preston was called in by a mutual friend of hers and Kate's," he says. "She's had about three or four lessons with Kate at her private flat in Chelsea and has also gone, very privately to Clarence House. Arabella was suppose to be coming on the day as well but now she isn't, because Kate's comfortable and confident in doing it herself."

The source credits her choice to do it solo to Kate's "informal character" and wanting to "keep some normality" for an extravagant affair that has already contradicted any morsel of normalcy, anyway. But whatever works.

Niemierko added that brides should look like a glamorous version of themselves, and that calls for extra makeup, especially for photos. It's been said that Kate disliked her makeup for her engagement photos so much that she wiped it off and did it herself. She always looks perfectly pretty to us!
