Celebs Celebrate the Jason Wu for Target Collection.

With anticipation building for the launch of Jason Wu for Target, the budget-retailer threw a star-studded soiree in honor of the boy wonder himself.

Lush white roses and vintage-inspired street lamps set the tone at the buzzing New York City party. The oh-so-French theme was fitting considering Wu's inspiration for the capsule collection: "I was inspired by the French New Wave films, actresses like Jean Seberg and Anna Karina," Wu told CBSNews. "That nonchalant chic, that effortless style, mixed with American sportswear."

To our delight, guests like Jaime King and Blake Lively opted for pieces from Wu's uber affordable line. The standout ensemble: French singer Yelle (who later performed for guests) sporting a white tee featuring Milu the cat. The cheeky feline of the Jason Wu for Target commercials is an unexpected star of the capsule collection. "I'm a cat person," Wu explained. "I thought the cat represents everything—it's elegant, it's mysterious a little bit and it's fun."

The Jason Wu for Target collection will be available in stores and online on Feburary 5.

EBONY.com: You recently got caught up in a nasty rumor with Kobe Bryant, that you were somehow the reason for his marriage ending after you two were seen in the same VIP section at Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne concert. I have to say I absolutely loved your response to the rumor on Twitter.

Sanaa: I probably shouldn’t have said that because I don’t discriminate when it comes to dating. I have dated all races and I believe you should be free to do whatever you want. But I was so annoyed because I was having such a great time at the concert and Kobe happen to be standing next to me, and then all of a sudden I was tied to his break-up. That’s absurd, and I tweeted that in the moment, and I regret it. But to each its own. It’s just funny that if it’s written people believe it, and even though I have said I have nothing to do with him, people are still saying when the baby is due?

And on the Best Man 2 status:

"Nothing has been confirmed yet regarding Best Man 2, but it is a great script that we have all read. It’s all on the studio and them deciding to do it. I know a lot of people are excited and anticipating the movie, but we all just have to cross our fingers and hopefully it will all come together. Everyone in the cast is excited and on board, and I think people will be really pleasantly entertained to see where these characters have evolved over the twelve years."

But she has another movie already in the works:

"I have Vipaka, but they are thinking about changing the title. It’s a physiological thriller with Forest Whitaker and Anthony Mackie. We shot it in New Orleans last August. It’s scary, sexy and tense. They are still editing it, so I’m not really sure when it will be out."

So everyone can lay off Sanaa and the man-eating/pregnancy rumors...at least for now.

Halle Berry Lands BRAND NEW SHOE LINE!

Halle, who juggles being an actress and mom to 3-year-old Nahla, loves to keep it comfy. And now she's teamed up with popular German retailer Deichmann Shoes to create her own shoe designs. The Revlon spokeswoman did a fab private shoot in Germany this week to showcase her '5th Avenue by Halle Berry' collection:

In the commercial, we'll see Halle getting caught up in changing her outfits and shoes in her dressing room even though she's late to her film set.

The shoes are mostly and relatively low-heeled, wedged, and comfy but with a stylish edge moms of little ones could definitely appreciate. Halle said about her creations:

"Women have always loved shoes. It's like if your hair is not right and your shoes are not right, the woman is not right. If both of them are right, you're pretty much OK."

She continued:

"And shoes are a statement. They can be very sexy; they can say something about where you are in the day; they can say what your mood is; they give you a chance to accessorize. And I'm a girl that loves to change my shoes all the time. It's an expression of who you are really. I'm a girl if I find a shoe that I really like I like to get them in all colours. I'm big on that."

What's her personal faves? The 45-year-old Hollywood star revealed:

"I would say I'm a nude girl because this goes with everything. You can dress it up and dress it down. I can't think of any girl who wouldn't want her name on a brand of shoes. I think that's pretty cool."

Halle's spring/summer range of 40 limited edition shoes will boast peep toes with wedge heels, mid-heeled sandals with straps and mid and high-heeled sling sandals on wedge heels.

The shoes go on sale in the UK in early March with prices starting at £29.99.

BONUS: Halle's baby's daddy Gabriel Aubry has agreed to go to anger management classes in light of the assault charges filed on him by Nahla's nanny.

Tuned In: Snoop Dogg Disses 'Cold-Blooded' Kim Kardashian.

It's pretty hard to take anything Snoop Dogg says seriously, particularly when he's sporting one of his special little hats. Hopefully Kim Kardashian keeps this in mind when she catches wind of the clip circulating on the web today: Snoop dishing out his NSFW opinion of the reality television diva under his psuedonym, Nemo. It's not flattering.

Also in music news, it costs a lot to party with Diddy, Solange and Beyonce had the most exciting childhood ever, and D'Angelo is looking hot again.

A minute-long clip from Snoop Dogg's web show is blowing up, thanks to the rapper's choice words when asked about Kim Kardashian's split from Kris Humphries. In a segment called "Nemo's Advice," Snoop opines, "You shouldn't have tried to wife the b**ch, man, she's not that type of a ho."

He then jokes about Kim wanting to trade up from Reggie Bush during a trip to Africa, before musing, "Ray-J the only n**ga that bounce back from the b**ch. She's cold-blooded. Karl Lagerfeld launches online-exclusive fashion range.

Designer Karl Lagerfeld has launched an online fashion collection in conjunction with the London-based web retailer Net-a-Porter.

The Karl line is being marketed as an "accessible" range for women. Items range in price from £20 to £980.

Net-a-Porter has a one-month exclusivity deal before the collection is offered on Lagerfeld-branded sites.

Retail analysts say the move is part of a growing trend of designers using the web to refresh their image.

This is not the Chanel designer's first signature line.

In 2004 he created the "Karl Lagerfeld for H&M" collection which sold in the Swedish retailer's stores.

Private equity firm Apax Partners has also marketed a series of ranges using his name, launched between 2006 and 2010. The company remains involved in this latest venture.

However, this marks the German designer's first internet-only collection.

"Karl Lagerfeld is seen as an older member of the fashion scene, so this might help him rejuvenate his image," said Isabel Cavill, fashion analyst at Planet Retail.

"We also saw Donatella Versace launch a collection which was sold on H&M's website last year, which caused the site to crash because demand was so strong.

"This is a great way to make their brands appear more accessible without risking damage to the perceived exclusivity of their other offline collections."

Sales surge

Online clothes sales have become big business, helping make the high-profile collapse of sportswear store Boo.com in 2000 seem a distant memory.

A research study by the Interactive Media in Retail Group reported that between April 2001 and May 2011, the value of the UK's online clothing sector grew by 3,245%.

The group said that the growth rate had slowed over recent months - in part because of the mild winter - but that the more expensive brands were performing better than their counterparts.

"High-end fashion retailers are experiencing the strongest growth," said IMRG spokesman Andy Mulcahy.

"We think that's partly down to the fact that the more affluent consumers are being hit less hard by the economy, and in general that high-end retailers had been slower to adopt online sales, so there is an element of catch up."

Amy Winehouse's Family Unhappy Over Jean Paul-Gaultier Couture Collection.

The inspiration behind Jean-Paul Gaultier's latest couture collection was crystal clear on Wednesday: Models strutted down the runway with shiny beehive wigs atop their heads, with black liquid eyeliner heartily-applied in a familiar cat-eye fashion. It was all an obvious nod to the late Amy Winehouse, from the boyish pinstripes to the cigarettes some models dangled from their lips.

The collection's reviews were notably mixed. The New York Times' Cathy Horyn appreciated the ease with which Gaultier "evoked [Winehouse's] chaotic essence in a marvelous show, while WWD noted that the show "felt at best ill-advised: a young woman who died tragically less than a year ago the fodder for an oh-so-feisty fashion show."

Unfortunately for Mr. Gaultier, who gushed about Winehouse's "fashion icon" status at the show, Amy's family wasn't impressed by the spectacle. Winehouse's father, Mitch, tweeted Thursday, "We don't support the Jean Paul Galtier collection. It's in bad taste."

Winehouse fans seeking a family-approved sartorial homage to the late chanteuse are better off perusing Amy's last collection for British clothier Fred Perry
(it's much more affordable than couture, anyway).

Rihanna to Star in New Fashion-Based Reality Show.

Rihanna must be bored with dominating the music charts because now she's moving on to conquering the world of reality television.

RiRi is set to launch a fashion-based reality show (á la Project Runway) with British network Sky Living. According to reps, the style-based show "will celebrate the extraordinary talent and creativity in the British fashion scene."

Get ready to see some over-the-top pieces, as the aspiring designers will be competing to produce stage outfits for a variety of celebrities and musicians over a 10-week period. The finalists may be missing out on the opportunity to show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, but the grand prize is shaping up to be a pretty sweet deal. The winner will design Rihanna's stage costume for her highly anticipated performance at Hyde Park in July 2012.

Known for her eclectic style, Rihanna said, "I've always had a great love of fashion. It's a constant source of inspiration in my life, and is a big reason why I've grown into the person and artist I am today. I am excited to follow the journey of our aspiring contestants and see how their individuality influences their efforts during the course of the show."

In a surprising twist, RiRi will not serve as host of the show. The pop star will instead serve as executive producer, meaning she will be involved in casting, editing, post-production and the occasional guest judge appearance. She's tapped Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts to host the show.

Demi Moore Leaves 'Lovelace' Biopic as New Health Details Emerge.

Demi Moore's career is apparently being put on hold while she deals with a set of unspecified health issues. The actress has pulled out of the upcoming porn star biopic Lovelace, in which she was to play firebrand feminist journalist Gloria Steinem opposite Amanda Seyfried.

While Moore's rep blamed "stress" and "exhaustion" in her official statement, in Hollywood "exhaustion" is usually code for something more troubling. So it's no surprise gossip site TMZ is reporting that substance abuse may have played a role in the actress' bid for professional medical help. An anonymous source for Radar Online has also stated that Moore's startling weight loss was a contributing factor in her hospitalization. "Demi is in getting treated for anorexia, as well as other issues... She has not taken care of her health at all lately and has lost a ton of weight," Radar's source said.

Moore's recent split from husband Ashton Kutcher is likely a heavy burden on the 49-year-old actress as well. In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Demi told the magazine, "I would say that what scares me is that I'm going to ultimately find out at the end of my life that I'm really not lovable, that I'm not worthy of being loved, that there's something fundamentally wrong with me."

PLANNING To Launch Music-Themed Cable Network
"REVOLT"

Though details are very hush hush, insides sources are reporting that on 12/12/12 Sean "Diddy" Combs will launch Revolt, a music-themed cable network.

The network is being described as "the old MTV" and will be geared toward African Americans.

And Diddy didn't have to reach too far into his pockets, as sources say the venture is well funded and will be distributed Comcast And Time Warner Cable. No word on who the other major investors are yet.

In other black network news, Charles Barkley (co-founder) will launch Kin TV in the spring around the same time as Soul of the South. Also, James Brown, of CBS Sports, was recently named managing director at Black Heritage Network.

Mary J. Blige's Keeps It Classy In New Mandarin Oriental Photoshoot.

Mary J. Blige has been making the rounds in NYC and just this morning, she co-hosted with Kelly Ripa on "Live With Kelly." As the twosome interviewed Chris Hansen of "The Bachelor," Mary says she's not the one to be fighting a bunch of women over a man:

"I watched it specifically because of today ... I used to try to watch it, but it was just like, you know, one guy and all these chicks and he's gonna pick the one he likes the best and they're all fighting for him. It makes sense to whoever thinks that way, but I'm a woman who doesn't think that way. I'm either worth it or I'm not. I'm the one. I'm not going to be fighting over you with 10 other women."

In addition to just singing, Mary's songwriting career is really taking off. She was recently nominated for both the Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards for penning "The Living Proof" from The Help.

And now she's writing a new song for a documentary focusing on sexual assault in the U.S. military. Nice.

Heidi Klum and Seal Confirm Separation.

The big celebrity rumor of the weekend turned out to be true: Heidi Klum and Seal are definitely separating. The couple confirmed their split in a statement to People.com Saturday night.

"While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate," they said in the written statement.

"We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition. We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children's sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy."

TMZ first reported the couple was headed for divorce Saturday, when sources with "direct knowledge" revealed the supermodel mom of 4 would file paperwork to end their marriage as early as next week. The couple have been married since 2005 and even renew their vows each May in a lavish ceremony. They have four children together, three biological and Seal adopted Heidi's daughter from a previous relationship in 2009. No word yet on when they'll actually file for divorce.

Versace for H&M Crashes Site...Again.

If you thought the days of Versace for H&M frenzy were behind you, think again.

The Versace for H&M Cruise collection launched on its international sites on Thursday, leading to mass chaos on the interwebs. Throngs of shoppers flocked to the site, causing it to crash for several hours...again. At approximately 6:30AM EST, H&M reps tweeted, "We’re very sorry for the tech problems during today’s #VersaceforHM launch. We’re working on expanding capacity for more visitors."

H&M also released a statement to Fashionista, saying: "This is a limited, one off collection which is supposed to sell out in a couple of days, but the interest from our customers highly exceeded anything we could have expected."

The H&M site is now sold out of a large majority of the collection, with only a lone purple top and printed ballet flats in a few sizes remaining. Sorry, folks!

Since H&M has yet to launch e-commerce site for US shoppers, stateside fans were jilted out of today's online hysteria. So if you're dying for the fruit-printed frocks, you'll have to go head-to-head with wily eBay shoppers. The prices may seem insane ($385 for a print dress?), but, hey, the heart wants what it wants.

Rihanna tantalized fans -- and Khloe Kardashian -- Thursday morning, after she posted a series of sexy pictures of herself on Twitter.

The racy, yet strangely amusing shots were taken while the 23-year-old vacationed in Hawaii. She began posting the pictures to her Twitter account late Wednesday night on Hawaii time, apparently intrigued by the concept of amateur photography.

In one pic, the singer poses on an elliptical machine, while wearing nothing but a skimpy white bikini. For whatever reason, Rihanna chose to send that particular one to Khloe Kardashian, along with this heartwarming personal message: "Haaaa!!! Come tap this" The reality TV star responded quickly, tweeting back "Don't tempt me doll! LOL."

Earlier in the week, Rihanna was spotted on the beach enjoying what may or may not have been a blunt. "Kush rolled, glass full...I prefer the better things!" she tweeted at the time, quoting Drake's "Up All Night."

Whatever the Barbadian was smoking, it definitely appears she's having a wonderfully entertaining time. And why shouldn't she? After globe trotting the world as part of her Loud tour, and sending herself to the hospital with exhaustion along the way, the singer definitely deserves some relaxation.

Lindsay Lohan has re-emerged and is making bold strides to reestablish her star status. With a recent spread in Playboy garnering her loads of press, the possible Elizabeth Taylor-playing actress is now appearing in a new fragrance ad campaign.

In addition to being featured in ads for the German designer Philipp Plein and Jag Jeans, Lindsay will be hawking the new FCUK Friction fragrance. But if you're looking for a brand new Lohan photo, look elsewhere — instead of doing a photo shoot specifically for the campaign, FCUK simply used a 2009 picture from a spread in Muse Magazine that featured Lindsay passionately embracing a male model.

It's great to see Lindsay getting herself back out there and doing things that sort of resemble "work," but one has to wonder if her recent choices have been appropriate vehicles for getting her career back on track. When Lady Gaga released "Born This Way" nearly a year ago, pop superstar Madonna remained mum on the comparisons drawn between Gaga's ode to self-love and her own 1989 hit "Express Yourself." Friends; at a personal capacity, I am a co-founder of Flaviana Matata Foundation.(FMF). One of our key project this year and always is to send orphaned girls to secondary school, the ones that have passed and can't afford to. We have selected 20 girls from Arusha, Mwanza, Dar and Mbeya. We will contribute our own money, I and Flaviana but we are also fundraising from friends and well wishers.

I have many clothes and shoes as I love to dress up. So I am selling 150 clothes and 60 pairs of shoes. Mostly worn only once and some new. All the cash will go to FMF on top of the personal money I will contribute. I want to call upon friends to come and buy and support these efforts. They can buy for friends, family etc.

Day: Saturday, January 14th, 2012.

Jay-Z and Beyonce just released a statement about baby B.I.C. and how over the moon they are as new parents. And they're putting the C-section rumors to rest, insisting Baby Blue was born naturally. The Lenox Hill Hospital reps also revealed The Carters never bought out or closed off the maternity floor.

Jay-Z revealed today, in the song "Glory" he made for his daughter, that a miscarriage occurred before Blue Ivy was conceived. And now the duo feels their new baby girl is a magical gift. Here's the couple's first statement released just moments ago about the natural birth:

Hello Hello Baby Blue!

We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012.

Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven.

She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives.

We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support.

Another rumor cleared up today? The Lenox Hill Hospital reps stated today the maternity wing/floor was never closed off to the public, and The Carters did not pay $1.3 million to do so:

"The suggestion that the couple paid $1.3 million to rent an entire maternity floor is simply not true."

The rep adds, "The family is housed in an executive suite at the hospital and is being billed the standard rate for those accommodations."

"The family does have its own security detail on site. However, the hospital has been and continues to be in control of managing all security at the facility. We have made every effort to ensure minimal disruption to other families experiencing the births of their own children over the past three days."

Lauryn Hill's Daughter Selah Marley May Become a Model.

Lauryn Hill has been inching her way back into the spotlight after years of living as a recluse in New Jersey. Now it appears that she may be joined in the public eye by her 12-year-old daughter with Rohan Marley, Selah, whose modeling test shots hit the Internet this week.

Selah, Hill's oldest daughter and the first child born after the massive success of Hill's debut solo effort The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, appears to have inherited the best of both her parents' genes: She's a knockout. For those wary of a young girl embarking on a modeling career at such a young age, we'd point out that the vast majority of working models kickstart their careers in their early teens.

In a Teen Vogue interview published earlier this year, Selah explained that modeling was totally her idea: "I was in a hotel with my dad, and I was just joking around and said, 'Oh yeah, Daddy, I want to model. I don't know—the camera is just fun."

La La Vazquez Anthony's New Makeup Collection.

Leave it to La La Vazquez Anthony to come out with her own line of cosmetics. The busy producer, actress, reality television personality, wife and mother has an obvious love of makeup. She's known for wearing delicious shades of berry-colored lipstick along with shimmering shadows and luxuriously long lashes.

La La broke the news via Twitter, announcing, "Guess what's coming in 2012!!...*sneak peak...giggles*." She also posted a picture featuring an array of makeup products that appear to include lipstick, lip gloss, blush and eyeshadow in a broad range of colors. We noticed pale baby pink to rich aubergine and every hue in between.

We also noticed a lack of foundations, concealers and powders. However, The Insider reports, "...her line will have a major focus on foundations to match all ethnic skin tones from light to dark." It seems that La La's interest in creating foundations is due to a common problem faced by many women of color: limited availability of appropriate shades. Hopefully the new collection should arrive sometime in February.
