This past Saturday, Grammy award winning singer/songwriter Ne-Yo hosted a pre-Mother’s Day Brunch honoring 4 metro Atlanta foster and single mothers at his Compound recording facility.The Def Jam recording artist invited the media out to have lunch and interview the ladies as a precursor to his Mother’s Day Brunch Serenade on May 11 in Atlanta where his Compound Foundation will honor 50 metro Atlanta foster and single mothers in Atlanta.
“We hope to bring attention to state of the foster care system in America and to honor mothers that deserve recognition. It is very easy for this group to get lost in the system and ignored because they are not troubled or dysfunctional; they are normal and super normal,”
