To celebrate O Magazine's 10th Anniversary, Oprah reportedly walked into the Hearst offices yesterday and whipped out $10,000 and a personalized leather bound IPad for EACH employee. No matter how long they worked there.
A Hearst spokesperson states:
"These were personal gifts to the staff from Oprah to thank them for their hard work and dedication to the magazine."
I know whoever called in sick yesterday is extra pissy. Bt this isn't the first time Ms. Winfrey has been so generous--she gifted her entire audience with Pontiac G6's back in 2004. And she sent all of her tv show employees and their fams on a Disney Word vacay a while back as well. Nice.
