Mustafa Hassanali Fashion Show at New Arusha Hotel Yesterday.
The founder and organizer of TWENDE and Swahili Fashion Week, Tanzania’s renowned Designer Mustafa Hassanali is in Arusha as guests of honor to Maridadi Women Show which takes place in Arusha town at New Arusha Hotel yesterday.
Being a guest designer, Mustafa Hassanali showcase two collections which he showed on February 2010 in Cameroon named as PARFUM D’AMOUR and Karafuu collection showcase in Zanzibar July 2010.
Besides Hassanali, other designers who will participate to Maridadi Women Show are Shwari collectables, designer collection by Hanifa Hash and Woolworths.
The events is organized by Maridadi, Maridadi is a group of three women from different Nationalities that is Tanzania, Australia and Holland who are living in Arusha. These three women are working together organizing different events concerning women issues in Arusha and Tanzania in general.
Lillian Bulengo explains “the main objectives of having such event bringing women together from different part of Arusha and Moshi and have a time to discuss different issues concerning women life’s such as sexual abuse and rape, women being independence and economical issues.”
Maridadi women are working closely to women issues, Lillian Bulengo who’s from Tanzania she is working as a Banking Consultant especial when its comes to women and baking issues, Trash Fox Holden dealing with hair health and beauty and Zhaleh Forouzan deals in graphic and interior designer.
