Carrie Underwood Is Enjoying Her New Life as a 'Hockey Wife'

Carrie Underwood's life has gone through some major changes since she married pro hockey player Mike Fisher last July. During a radio interview Thursday morning, the country singer said people don't realize how domestic her life has become, but she couldn't be happier.
"It is nice being a hockey wife," she told Minneapolis station K102. "Of course now I'm like cleaning the house, buying the groceries... I can spend hours in a grocery store and I'm the happiest person in the universe."

Underwood told the radio hosts that she enjoys spending time with Fisher in his Canadian home in Ottawa, Ontario, but unfortunately she wasn't feeling the love when the visited Montreal.

"Our car got broken into," she said. "So that was fun. I am not going back to Montreal. ... We had to call [the rental agency] and be like, 'We're sorry! The car is broken.'"

While Underwood and Fisher are both constantly on the road, she said they find ways to make things work out.

"We're together a lot more than people think we are," she said. "Even if it's just for a day, we get to pop in. We'll make sure we put the extra time and effort to do that."
