HAPPY 47th BIRTHDAY Michelle Obama!Today is the 47th birthday of US First Lady Mrs. Michelle Obama. She will be celebrating by doing her usual--participating in a community service project with her Presidential hubby to celebrate MLK Day of Service.
Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama is a fab chick. The first African-American First Lady of the United States. The first woman other than Oprah to appear on O: The Oprah Magazine. And she's graced the covers of TIME, Newsweek, Vogue, Essence and countless other magazines around the world and been at the top of pretty much any "Best" list since President Obama took office.
A fashion icon and supermom, whether it's her "Let's Move" campaign to fight childhod obesity or raising poverty awareness or her work with military families, Mrs. O is a role model to women around the world. We salute Lady O and wish her a happy and fabulous 47th birthday!
