Gwen Stefani has been married to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale for 14 years, and she is "proud" of their marriage because of the revelations that have rocked their union.
Gwen -- who has two sons, Kingston, four, and Zuma, two, with Gavin -- told Elle magazine: "I’ve been with Gavin for 14 years, and, let’s face it, that is a huge accomplishment.
"I feel so proud of that -- it hasn’t been the easiest journey."
It emerged in 2004 that model Daisy Lowe is Gavin's daughter from a relationship he had with her mother Pearl Lowe in the late 1980s. He had been her godfather prior to being told of his paternity.
Last year, the 45-year-old musician finally admitted to having a homosexual affair with gender-bending British pop star Marilyn in the same decade when he was in his late teens.
Speaking about his sexuality, Gavin -- who had refused for years to comment on Marilyn’s claims they had a relationship -- said at the time: "I think at the outset there was a sort of fear -- that was right at the beginning of Bush, and I didn't want it to be part of it.
“I've never wanted to appear closed about it. It's not something I've talked about really because it's always been in the glare of a tabloid world. It's just one of those things -- move on.
"When you're 17, Jesus Christ, I don't think there's anything strange about any form of anything -- you're learning about life. It's a part of growing up. That's it. No more, no less."
