Tyra Banks Is a Harvard Business School Student.
Alright, so she's got the beauty and the brains. Tyra Banks has opened up about attending the elite Harvard b-school for the past year.
Tyra, who seems to already have pretty good business savvy, is enrolled at the ultra-competitive Harvard owner/President Managament program. "It's pretty exclusive," she told CBS News.
The model-turned-businesswoman dropped out of Loyola Marymount University back when she was only 17. "The day I put college on hold because I got discovered....was one of the most difficult decisions of my entire life," she said.
How do her classmates feel about having a former Victoria's Secret supermodel walk into their serious classroom environment?
"I get mixed reactions," she said. "There are little facial expressions... The chin goes back, like, 'Really?'...it's like why is a model going to Harvard? But that's actually a good thing, because when people have low expectations, you're just constantly going, 'Ta-da!'"
Hopefully she'll come away with a business plan that is more enticing than a new perfume or daytime talk show!
