Christian Louboutin Has Lost Its Battle Against YSL.

Christian Louboutin has lost its battle against YSL. Back in April, Louboutin sued for trademark infringment over the use of its signature scarlet soles, but the judge in the case ruled in YSL's favor, explaining, "Because in the fashion industry color serves ornamental and aesthetic functions vital to robust competition, the court finds that Louboutin is unlikely to be able to prove that its red outsole brand is entitled to trademark protection."
