For her sophomore collection, Rachel Zoe brings on another round of wearable pieces that seems to have mastered all sorts of fashion conundrums. Sexy meets conservative, sophistication meets comfort, day meets night. Slinky ascot blouses, pencil-leg jumpsuits and vibrant maxi-dresses all offer an option for varied occasions.
The most seductive aspect of Zoe's collection are the sumptuous fabrics. Delectable draped hues of aqua, pomegranate and eggplant, coatings of sequins, delicate pleats and dark indigo denim, all offer a sumptuous visual texture. Floor-length dresses and long-sleeves may conjur images of dowdy office wear, but peeks of skin through hip-high slits, shoulder cut-outs and a variety of short hems give a tasteful provocative power to the the pieces.
The stylist and entrepreneur makes her design feat seamless with her signature '70s aesthetic. Zoe already rules the red carpet, styling half of the Hollywood A-listers, we have no doubt she will reign supreme at the department store counter, as well.
