High Fashion Heist: $400K Worth of Louis Vuitton Goods Stolen.One of Spring 2012's standout collections was Louis Vuitton's magical Paris presentation, complete with lace parasols, a fanciful carousel and, of course, Kate Moss. Following the recent heist of Marc Jacobs' Spring 2012 sample collection, the creations of LV's head designer were targeted this time.
Five masked robbers held up four employees and a security guard at France's Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport to make a getaway with approximately $400,000 worth of Louis Vuitton merchandise. While details are yet to be released on the exact content the robbers made away with, we hope the whimsical pastel pieces for spring were left untouched.
