When longtime couple Heidi Klum and Seal announced they were splitting up earlier this year, many people on the Internet responded like this: Noooooooooooooooooooo! Every time a seemingly happy celebrity relationship bites the dust, it casts suspicion on the entire idea of love. If even the gods can't love each other, what will become of mere mortals like us?
Klum must be thinking along these lines, because her new maybe-boyfriend is decidely less famous than her ex. Following in the footsteps of her celebrity peer Scarlett Johansson, the supermodel decided to try dating an uncommon commoner: an ad executive.
Before he was also Klum's fellow judge on Germany's Next Top Model, Thomas Hayo was merely a humble ad man. He and Klum have been photographed PDA-ing all over the place.
I'm not sure whether it's the influence of Mad Men or a weird, magnetic kind of evil which must be a neccessary trait for achieving major executive-level success in the advertising world, but ad guys have somehow been landing the bombshelliest bombshells around. I guess if you can sell anything, you can also sell yourself.
