According to WWD, Casta recently “cozied up to Karl Lagerfeld’s cat Choupette for a photo spread in V magazine.” And considering V‘s Stephen Gan was the first person to ever Tweet a photo of the now famous kitten, we’re inclined to believe it.
We’re glad Choupette is starting young–she won’t be a kitten forever and may not have many good modeling years left. In WWD a few weeks ago, Lagerfeld called Choupette a “famous beauty,” and now she’ll finally be able to live up to that name. And while it did seem ridiculous that Choupette had two maids and a then-600 page diary, we guess now that she’s a model it’s kind of ok. She is also probably the inspiration for one of Chanel’s new handbags, so she’s really moving into that model/muse role.
