Jennifer Aniston is heading down the aisle! The actress and boyfriend of over a year, Justin Theroux, announced their engagement Sunday.
"Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage," his rep told People magazine.
Aniston, 43, and Theroux, 41 met on the set of their flick Wanderlust and started dating in May 2011. They made their public debut as a couple a short time later, in matching leather jackets. Since then, they've enjoyed dressing similarly and walking around NYC or taking rides on Theroux's motorcycle. Engagement buzz started earlier this summer, but it appears the actor-screenwriter only put a ring on it recently.
Now it's a race to the altar for the former Friends star and ex-husband Brad Pitt, who finally popped the question to Angelina Jolie in April. Oddly enough, there was a rumor going around recently that the couple of seven years would say "I do" this weekend in France. It didn't happen.
