Raf Simons Returns To Costume Design.

SIMONS will make the costumes for Sigourney Weaver and Isabelle
Huppert in their upcoming film project. The Christian Dior creative
director will design the outfits worn by the actresses in Body
Art - explaining the appearance of both women on the front row
of his
Dior Couture show earlier this week.
"Isabelle plays a body artist [in Body Art]," Weaver told a
writer from WWD after the show. "I play a journalist, like
you - so I'm studying you."
The film - helmed by Italian director Luca Guadagnino - is based
on the 2001 Don DeLillo novel of the same name, and centres around
a woman's battle with grief after her husband commits suicide.
It isn't the first time that Simons has been involved with film
production - nor is it, his first time working with Guadagnino. The
designer created the wardrobe for Tilda Swinton in the director's
previous hit film, This Is Love - which gained an Oscar
nomination for its costumes.
