Amy Winehouse earned six nominations. Foo Fighters, Vince Gill, Herbie Hancock, Kanye West, and Amy Winehouse will vie for Album of the Year.
Record of the Year includes BeyoncĂ©’s “Irreplaceable,” Foo Fighters’ “The Pretender,” Rihanna’s “Umbrella” featuring Jay-Z, “What Goes Around…Comes Around” by Justin Timberlake, and “Rehab” by Amy Winehouse.
Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, and T-Pain grabbed five nominations; Rihanna, Ne-Yo, and Akon earned four nominations; T.I., Common, Fantasia, Mary J. Blige, and Jill Scott with three each; and Beyoncé, Nas, 50 Cent, Keyshia Cole, R. Kelly, Nelly Furtado, and Alicia Keys with two.
Winners will be announced on February 10, 2008 during the live ceremony held at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.
