Louis Vuitton Trunk SaleAren’t they amazing? They’re vintage Louis Vuitton trunks and suitcases, not so practical perhaps, and surely likely to exceed your baggage allowance, must much prettier to look at.
The well-worn ones are hard to track down these days, but Christie’s is set to hold an auction of around 20 monogrammed classics this September. If you want to get your hands on one then bear in mind that they don’t come cheap - prices are estimated to range from £400 to £400. But I think they’re worth it, don’t you? Especially as, given that most of us don’t head off on long-haul boat journeys or private jets, we’d probably use a trunk as a piece of furniture rather than luggage.
