T.I. officially began serving an 11-month stint at a federal prison in Arkansas for violating his parole.
Sometime around noon, T.I., inmate #59458-019, showed up at the gates of the Forrest City low-security prison. TIP will serve another 11 months in prison for breaking his federal probation after he was arrested on Sept. 1 in Los Angeles on drug charges.
A spokesperson for the prison said T.I. will be processed normally, pose for a prison photo, and will be given a bunk assignment. TMZ reports that T.I.'s prison only has community showers, a tv in the general room and a standard uniform of khaki trousers, khaki button down shirt and black shoes. Inmates can make phone calls but not use more than 300 minutes per month.
Smh. This family has really been through the fire. I wish them well.
