The Kardashians Made $65 Million Last Year.The Kardashian girls could probably buy the entire Silly Bandz bracelet empire with the profit they made in 2010: $65 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Between their multiple reality TV shows, brand endorsements, product lines, public appearance fees and more, it makes sense this power family raked in so much cash.
And many attribute the fam's success to Mama Manager Kris Jenner's business savy outlook.
"Look at Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg...Two guys that didn't finish college ended up billionaires. Sometimes just raw energy and intelligence wins out," Kris's friend Scott Sassa told THR.
Khloe Kardashian chimes in: "My mother has just always been this 'Let's make water into wine' person...She knows how to take one small talent or ability and grow it into something huge."
Kris Jenner says she had enough confidence in her daughters' appeal to encourage them to just let their true personalities shine on the reality TV series Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
"Not only do we not have filters running through our brains, we don't edit ourselves...The scene where [Kourtney's boyfriend] Scott [Disick] is shoving money down the waiter's throat, that was hard to watch. But I said: 'Leave it alone. Just show it. It'll be fine.' I've said that every single time. And it's served me well from a business point of view," she said.
Although some say the Kardashians are successful for no reason (or maybe it's for too many reasons) Kris put it bluntly: "My job was trying to take my kids' 15 minutes and turn it into 30."
But we think they're largely beyond 30 minutes of fame by now...
