Mustafa Hassanali Launches Of 'Serengeti'Collection In Mauritius.


Tanzania’s own renowned pan African designer Mustafa Hassanali Launched His second Collection for the year 2011 at the Origin Africa “Fibre to Fashion” Event 2011 which was held on 18 March 2011 in Mauritius.


“I am so overwhelmed with the response I received upon the launch my new collection here in the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius, I look forward to promote the Tanzanian Textile, fashion and tourism across the globe and be its Ambassador.If Mauritius Can achieve it Why Cant Tanzania? ” stated Mustafa Hassanali

Mustafa Hassanali unveiled his new collection named “Serengeti” in Mauritius; the collection which has been inspired by the wilderness of the Serengeti plains, the flora and fauna of Tanzania famed tourist destination, “Serengeti” The brown hues of the dust ruffled up by the wild beast migration to the flaky mud on the elephant. The florals of the dry savannah bring the sense of tranquility away from the hustle and the bustle of a metropolis.

“Serengeti” truly defines Tanzania as not only a Touristic destination but also potentially a place to source Tanzania, Originally made in Africa Textile and garments

“As per my tagline, if your ensemble isn’t embellished with bling and your gown don’t have a trail, that’s not a Mustafa Hassanali gown, this collection is a ready to wear collection that has been made using cotton made in Tanzania’s blended with Tanzanian fabric “Kitenge” whose floral print entice the serene serendipity of Serengeti .” concluded Hassanali.
