Vera Wang Relaunches Lavender Collection in Time for Prom.

Vera Wang launched her diffusion collection Lavender in 2005 and it was an overnight success, pulling in over $18 million in wholesale sales until the recession forced it to shutter. But Vera believes in the line and has relaunched it just in time for prom and wedding season.

The first iteration of the line spread itself a little too thin over too many categories, so she repositioned it to focus on eveningwear only. Lavender is sold exclusively at Neiman Marcus with a price range of $395 to $595, putting it in solid competition with similar contemporary lines like BCBG Max Azria and Rachel Roy. The pieces are romantic and elegant, with Vera's signature draping and attention to detail.

Check it out at NeimanMarcus.com.
