Karl Lagerfeld Plans Late Night Couture Show.On July 5, the hottest place to be in Paris at 10pm will be the Chanel Haute Couture show. Rather than showing while the sun is still up, Karl Lagerfeld is planning a special late night presentation, scheduled to begin at 10pm—emphasis on scheduled, we're betting it starts at 11.
The show will be in the Grand Palais, his favorite location, and the normally light-filled glass emporium will be pitch black. We're anticipating moody looks and a party atmosphere as fashionistas chug champagne to stay awake. Keep an eye out for Chanel faves Blake Lively, Rachel Bilson and Clemence Poesy.
