Prabal Gurung Wants to Design Bridal.

CFDA winner Prabal Gurung is dreaming big. Although this buzz-worthy designer has already been nominated for a CFDA award, he's still a relative newbie in the industry, having only shown his first collection in 2009. But that hasn't stopped him from exploring other avenues of design—and he has his eye on wedding dresses.

At a recent Isaac Mizrahi bridal presentation, Prabal mentioned that he had designed three wedding gowns for his own friends and would love to consider doing bridal in the future. He says:

I’m in no rush, but it’s an idea that’s definitely interesting. There are so many categories I want to get into, and bridal is one of them.

We think Prabal would produce some fantastic wedding gowns!
