Sneak Peek: Karl Lagerfeld for Macy's

As the August 31 launch date nears, details about Karl Lagerfeld's much-awaited Macy's line have hit the internet.

For the collection, rather than garner influence from his stints at Chanel and Fendi, Lagerfeld has gone further back in his career and pulled inspiration from his time at ChloƩ in the 70s. The 45-piece collection is retro-inspired and will range in price from $50 to $170. The Kaiser is looking forward to his collection and says:
To me Macy’s is the perfect department store in the US where everybody can find what they’re looking for without ruining their budget. That’s why I am happy to make this limited collection just for Macy’s.
Lagerfeld for Macy's will only be in store for six to eight weeks, so you better be quick. Faster even if it sells out in days as his H&M line did. Also, New Yorker's might be able to get a glimpse at the famous designer who might make a store appearance in early September.
