'Vogue' Validates Willow Smith's Style Icon Status.It's official: Willow Smith is an American style icon. Vogue polled fashion's top designers on who they envision as the future of American style, and Willow made the list.
We have to say, we're not surprised. Even before Willow was a legitimate pop star, she was making waves with an edgy red carpet style that showed off a sensibility more mature than her 10 years.
Her feature in the mag includes a quote from designer Derek Lam, who says:
Naturally talented, charismatic, unblemished optimism, with the whole wide world open to her possibilities and abilities. I think she is the future-forward American icon.
