First Look: Emma Watson for Lancôme.In March, Emma Watson was spotted in Paris shooting the commercial for Lancôme's Trésor Midnight Rose fragrance. Now, in preparation for the ad's release, Lancôme has released a behind-the-scenes look at the ad.
The video showcases photos shot on set by Mario Testino, who also produced the final campaign. It also features voiceover by Emma, who says she's "incredibly flattered to be asked to be ambassadress." Emma remembers being "excited to know that I'd be working with Mario again because he's someone I trust implicitly." She was right to trust Mario, because she looks absolutely gorgeous in the photos.
Emma describes the fragrance as wholesome, sweet and warm, but magical with the concept of a flower that blooms only at midnight. The story of the ad revolves around the concept of life being "magical and full of surprises." It involves a meeting between Emma and a handsome boy, how fate and chance brought them together and how you "never know what's going to be around the corner."
