James Franco to Direct Seven For All Mankind's Spring Campaign.

Move along, Don Draper. James Franco is officially the hottest ad man in town! Luxury denim brand Seven For All Mankind officially announced that the hunky Spider-Man star is set to direct and photograph the brand's upcoming spring campaign. The print campaign first appear in March issues of various magazines with video segments to go online around the same time. The campaign is scheduled to begin shooting on December 11 in Los Angeles, with a second tentatively date in January. The cast for the campaign has yet to be announced, but will include high-profile celebrities and models.

WWD reports that the campaign will "emphasize a narrative approach, using a large cast portraying a free-spirited and glamorous California lifestyle." President of Seven For All Mankind, Barry Miguel, said the California-native was a natural choice for the job. “We want to tell our story about our California roots and James Franco so embodies the ideals of California." James says that this new experience is about “having the opportunity to be creative in a new way and they are going to provide all the toys and the cast and everything else.”

This may be James's first time directing an advertising shoot, but it's not his first time behind the camera. The talented star recently photographed Agyness Deyn for a Rebel Without a Cause-themed spread in Elle, and also worked on a shoot for W. And of course he's been the face of Gucci by Gucci Pour Homme since 2008 as well as the face of Gucci's bespoke suit service.

From funny man in Pineapple Express to action hero in the Spider-Man-series to dramatic soap star in General Hospital, James Franco's talents knows no bounds!
