Bobbi Kristina Brown Doing 'Much Better,' Says Bobby Brown.

It has obviously been an extremely difficult time for Whitney Houston's 18-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, but according to her father she is improving more and more with each passing day.

"My daughter Bobbi Kristina is doing much better," Bobby Brown said in a statement to ABC News on Tuesday.

"We continue to provide love and support to Bobbi Kristina. She is dealing with the tragedy of her mother's death and would prefer to do it outside of the public eye. I ask again that our privacy be respected."

Following her mother's sudden death on Saturday, Bobbi Kristina was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after suffering an apparent emotional breakdown. She has since been released to her family and friends.

"Obviously the death of her mother is affecting her. However we will get through this tragedy as a family," Bobby Brown told People magazine.

Houston's family has planned a private funeral for the singer on Saturday in Newark, NJ at the New Hope Baptist Church where Whitney once sang in the choir.
