Retail giant H&M introduced a gigantic bronze statue of soccer star David Beckham yesterday at their Regent Street store in London.
Not since Donatello (the artist, not the Ninja Turtle) made his David, has the world seen such a brilliant piece of sculpture. While the Renaissance virtuoso chose to depict his subject in the nude, the Beckham statue has the Brit wearing metallic underwear. Of course this makes sense, seeing as the bronze creation was erected in honor of his new underwear line.
