Former spice girl Melanie Brown has reportedly failed to name Eddie Murphy as the father on her baby’s birth certificate. The one-time Scary Spice is currently embroiled in a paternity suit following the birth of daughter Angel Iris in April (07) and the pair appeared in a Californian court on Monday (11 Jun 07) where Eddie Murphy submitted a DNA sample. Following the baby’s birth, Brown’s publicist Nadine Bibi confirmed the singer had listed Murphy as the father on the child’s birth certificate. She said: “Yes, he is listed as father.” But a copy of the document, minus Murphy’s name, emerged yesterday (12 Jun 07).
