You Need To Know -Upcoming Designer Christine Kissa Zimba ''Kiki''.

Her real name is Christine Kissa Zimba, also known as Kiki,Since she was a kid she had passion for Fashion.
She did try different things in life like journalism. But she had to go back to what she do best and love the most which is Fashion.

She started with a small boutique in Mikocheni area around 2004,One of the things that motivated her to own a boutique is that she wanted to set up a trend and made sure that her Tanzanian woman were up to date with fashion around the globe.

She can truly say that is one of the reason why her boutique is a sucess, she can't thank her Tanzanian woman enought for the support and love they have given her through the years.Since then she have never looked back.It has been a rollercoster but as she said fashion is her passion. So she's loving and enjoying every moment of it.

Well this year she have decided to come out of the shell. She have started her own clothing line called Kiki's Fashion, which so far is looking good.

All the best Kiki & Well done.

Report:The Most Expensive US Clothing Store Is Oscar de la Renta.

In this day and age when the price on a handbag can routinely run upwards of $1,000 and no one bats an eye at a dress in Vogue priced at $4,000, sometimes we wonder: Which designer's collections are, on average, the most expensive? The folks at Bundle compiled data they received from Citi, tallying the average spends at designer stores around the country and came up with a final tally that indicates Oscar de la Renta is the most expensive store in the country.
De la Renta's eponymous store on New York City's Madison Avenue had well-to-do shoppers spending $3,217 on average during each shopping trip to the high end store. This isn't atypical considering dresses in his ready to wear line have price tags from $1,890 to $4,790 (his cocktail dresses can go as high as $10,690).

The other stores in the top 5 most expensive shops: Giorgio Armani, located just half a block from Oscar de la Renta, ranked second with an average receipt of $2,881; Loro Piana in Boston ranked third with $2,818, the very high end womenswear shop Akris also found on Madison Ave ranked fourth with $2,818; West Hollywood's Maxfield, which sells clothing from designers like Chanel and Balmain, rounded the top 5 with an average receipt of $2,258.

Lady Gaga and Little Sis to Launch Clothing Line.

The buzz flying around the web today suggests Lady Gaga will co-launch a line with her fashion designer sister, Natali GermaAlign Centernotta. Grazia confirms the new line, but dismisses the possibility of meat dresses for the masses, saying the "wearable" line will more likely "remodel the styles of classic icons from the past, for example, Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, and Katherine Hepburn." Puzzled? So are we.

Iman Speaks out Against the Slave Earrings in Italian 'Vogue'.

A fierce human rights activist with a particular focus on women and children around the world, the legendary Iman is not one to bite her tongue on issues of racism—particularly when it encroaches on the fashion world. Case in point: Vogue Italia caught Iman's notice earlier this week when the renowned publication posted a feature on its website called "Slave Earrings," featuring a white woman wearing large gold hoops. The magazine tried to resolve the faux pas with an alternate headline, "Ethnic Earrings," only worsening the situation with the implicit equivalence.

Fashionista had the opportunity to speak with the style and beauty mogul about her thoughts on Vogue Italia's latest gaffe. She says,

I’m a huge fan of Franca Sozzani and Vogue Italia’s website because they have a whole section on black models...But yeah, I didn’t like it. Slave does not make it ethnic. Mind you, it’s not lost in translation–the word slave, we know what it is. They might as well have called them n***** earrings. For somebody like Franca Sozzani, who did that whole black issue for Vogue, somebody should have said something.

Also on Wednesday, Iman added the Platinum accessory collection to her wildly popular collection on the Home Shopping Network. After two decades of modeling, the glamazon now focuses exclusively on her entrepreneurial projects including Iman Cosmetics, her popular make-up line that specializes in shades for women of color.

Kate Moss Goes Topless for the 2012 Pirelli Calendar.

Kate Moss constantly proves that nudity in the name of fashion is just another day's work in the life of a supermodel. The British beauty has once again stripped down, this time for the 2012 Pirelli calendar shot by Mario Sorrenti. Kate, who recently married British rocker James Hince, will be joined by fellow glamazons such as Isabeli Fontana, Lara Stone and Milla Jovovich. The shoot took place on the exotic Mediterranean island of Corsica.

Dating back to 1964, the Pirelli calendar regularly features the world's hottest models and actresses and is known for its ultra racy themes. It is only made available to a limited number of important Pirelli customers and celebrity VIPs. This will mark Kate's second appearance in a Pirelli calendar—she first appeared in 1994, shot by Herb Ritts.

Last year's photographer was none other than fashion guru Karl Lagerfeld, whose theme focused on the perfection of mythological Greek and Roman gods. Mario Sorrenti's vision for this year's calendar underlines natural feminine beauty, which might explain all the nudity. Although the calendar does not officially launch till December 6, Italian Vanity Fair got a sneak peek at some of the pictures.

Anna Wintour on Intimidation and Power.

The reigning queen of the fashion industry was just ranked 69th on Forbes' Most Powerful Women list. With a hand in every aspect of the apparel business and the ability to make or break a new designer, we are almost surprised she didn't rank higher. Anna Wintour sat down with Forbes to discuss her infamous fear factor, her dream Vogue cover ladies and how it feels to be a woman of great power.

Forbes' first question cut straight to the chase, inquiring about the notorious intimidation factor of the icy editor-in-chief. Anna explains, "Well, I don't think of myself as intimidating and I assure you that people who work with me on a day-to-day basis don't think that either...I keep my head down, I try to do my job to the best of my ability."

Her dream Vogue cover girl? The editor cited three women who she was thrilled to place on the magazine's front page. Coincidentally, all three join Anna on Forbes' latest list: Hilary Clinton, who ranked second; Michelle Obama, eighth; and Lady Gaga, who landed in the 11th spot above all other entertainers on the list.

When addressing power, however, Anna does not relish the label. She says, "I don’t think of myself as a powerful person. You know, what does it mean? It means you get a better seat in a restaurant or tickets to a screening or whatever it may be. But it is a wonderful opportunity to be able to help others, and for that I’m extremely grateful."

It's been a busy summer for Karl Lagerfeld. Less than a week before his Macy's collection hits stores, the renowned Chanel designer has revealed plans to launch a new fragrance for women this September. Showing an apparent love of puns, Uncle Karl chose to name his new perfume Karleidoscope, explaining, "Karleidoscope reveals not only the diversity of a muse, it reveals the aura of each individual woman!"

So what does Karl think a woman should smell like? Featuring notes of violet, freesia and patchouli, Karleidoscope is said to be a "passionate" scent which smells different on each individual. Other noteworthy features include packaging that serves as an functioning kaleidoscope embossed with Karl's snazzy signature.
